It all started in 1978 when a local farmer on Oldman’s Creek Road had a vision and an eagerness to help his fellow farmers. Fred Musumeci started selling sand for the local farmers to use in their planting beds. That became the start of what we now call Woolwich Sand & Gravel, LLC. Woolwich Sand & Gravel, LLC has been family owned and operated for over 38 years. As the towns around Fred grew, so did Woolwich Sand and Gravel. Fred passed the family business to his daughter Marie and her husband, Mark Minniti. Mark and Marie have now run the business for over 24 years and hope to pass it onto their son, Mark and daughter, Nicole, who also work for the family business. In 2014, Woolwich Sand and Gravel, LLC reloacted back to where it all began on Oldman's Creek Rd. Renovations were made on the property and Woolwich Sand & Gravel, LLC is back home where they belong and growing everyday!
Mark and Marie support the local community by annually sponsoring various local sport teams. They’ve also donated material to various non-profit organizations such as the “Make-a-Wish Foundation.” They’ve participated in many community events and are always up for lending a hand when the community needs them. At Woolwich Sand & Gravel, LLC, family is key to the success of the business. Keeping with tradition, Woolwich Sand and Gravel, LLC has never operated on a Sunday, which is reserved for family and faith.

MEET THE TEAM
Marie Minniti
Owner
Over 32 years ago Marie started working for her father, Fred Musumeci, handling the bookwork. When Fred was ready to retire, Marie took over the family business with her husband Mark, back in 1990. Marie has grown the company to what it is today from the inside out. Handling all the bookwork and phone calls in the office. Currently she has stepped back a bit in the office and given the reins to her daughter, Nicole. Marie is definitely the heart the company and has helped it grow to what it has become today.
Mark Minniti
Owner
Mark started off working for Fred Musumeci over 32 years ago. He worked for Fred for about 8 years before Marie and him took over the family business. Mark over saw all the truck(s) and machines, as well as drivers. He handled taking care of deliveries that needed to be made and any jobs that might of needed to be done. Mark currently manages all the machine work and has given the reins of overseeing the trucks and drivers to his son Mark. Mark's attention to detail keeps customers coming back.
Nicole Kilpatrick
Office Manager
After graduating college with a BA in Graphic Design, Nicole went on to work for a marketing company for 3 years. In 2011 a position had opened up in the office at WS&G. Nicole approached her parents about the job and since then Nicole has taken over managing the office, and handling all the advertising. She is excellent when it comes to customer service and is always striving to make the company better. She has brought some new insight into the company and revamped it to what it is today.
Mark Minniti
Dispatcher/Yard Manager
After High School, Mark started working for the family business. Helping customers in the office, making small deliveries and loading. Mark eventually moved up and became a driver and now oversees the daily operations of the drivers, trucks and yard. He also keeps up on the daily maintenance of the trucks and machines. Mark has grown the fleet to what it is today.
